No, i think it's a little dumb. My friend has one though, she just follows people, but she never posts herself. when i say people i mean celebs, and i dont really see the need to follow them when you've got your own life. Now if you use it to keep in touch with people like some people do, then i totally understand.

Haha, no, I don't. I don't think I'd be able to keep up.

yep, you usually gain followers from people following you back. You can follow someone by clicking their name (which brings you to their profile) and clicking 'follow'. Another way is to tweet about something mentioned in the TT (trending topics). That just means popular things that people are tweeting about at that moment in time, you can see them at the lower end of the right sidebar, i'm not sure where it is for the new layout of twitter, but you should find it easily.

to tweet about a topic, you can either just write it normally or add a # in front of the word. This makes it clickable, and if you click it, it'll take you to a separate timeline full of tweets including that word or topic. People can follow you this way too, especially if the word/topic is a band, it shows you have something in common.

It becomes clearer the longer you spend on it Wink

I do, but I never go on it? To get followers, they have to find you.
