Should I still be best friends with someone who hangs out with my bully?

So let's just call me best friend 'E'.

Last year I was raped by a guy and he fled the state to avoid getting in trouble. Meanwhile, I confided in two people. My best friend, E, and one of our guy friends. Well. The guy friend turned around and told a group of people that hated my best friend.

So this group of people takes the fact that I was raped and turn it into a huge, public joke. Something that I still have nightmares about and see a therapist for, they can make their personal amusement. Next thing I know, I have notifications on Facebook saying "you're such a s***t! I'm sure if you got on you're knees and begged, I bet (rapists name) would give you a second chance!" I was even ridiculed by people I had never met for what happened to me. I became suicidal, so I had to see a psychiatrist. Easily the worst experience of my life and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

E has started hanging out with them again. Should I feel bad for being hurt that she is? She saw how I felt...

Love, if she isn't willing to be by your side through what you're going through then I don't think she's a very good friend. What they are doing to you is just disgusting and vulgar. I wish I could stop it myself, but I can't. But listen, if she is going to be friends with them despite what horrible things they did, then I say don't be friends with her. It's probably for the best x

Your guy friend told people who hated your best friend, E, but E hung out with them? Why would she hang out with them if they hated her?

She is a terrible friend. Don't let the scumbags get to you ignore the insults just meant to upset you. The best revenge iscto have a happy successful life. Be the best you can be show them that they can't upset you and then you win.
