Am I being too paranoid or is this normal?

Ive been talking to a guy lately and we really like eachother. Sometimes tho on twitter i see he talks to girls and uses the little kiss emojis or girls kinda flirt with him sometimes. we arent exactly dating but he said he wants to make me his girl, and i really really like him. so i began checking his twitter more. I have it bookmarked. is that regular or am i being to protective? also, do you think he really likes me? We text usually at least once a day, sometimes we sext, and we skype too and talk about stuff.
