How do I convince my mom to let me have an Instagram?

I am in 7th grade. Everyone else has one. She has already declined it once so I am planning on trying again a month later

Tell her about how cool it is to conform to the group of people that you want to fit in with. Tell her about the cool photos that you will upload of you pouting out your lips and the food that you eat.

My parents used to be really against me having a myspace (that was the thing to do back then). I finally talked them into it, though. When you're talking to her it's important to be respectful and understand where she's coming from. She doesn't want you growing up to fast and she wants you to be safe, which is understandable. What my parents did was monitor my myspace to make sure I wasn't talking to strangers, looking at inappropriate photos, or posting bad things. Maybe you guys can come to some kind of agreement.
