i have question About Social skills?
is there no way of improving social skills other than
talking and interacting with people more often?....
and dont tell me ways like working in some stupid
market or yoga, exercising or
going to speech lessons, i can't do that
i'm a student.
are there any scientific proven ways
that one can improve social skills??
ways like.. improving the part of the brain
that has effects on social skills...something
like this.
thanks

I've never heard of anything like that and the fact that you want to improve your brain or whatever is just weird. the best thing really is to watch people and listen. See how they interact and try to learn how to pick up on social cues.

I would say to read a lot of common events... Books that you yourself are interested in.. And forums are sometimes good because the people hiding behind their computers aren't afraid to let out real feelings sometimes..

Try not to think about stuff so much.. Chill

Social skills are learned over a lifetime, as you meet different people. You're still a student, so you have a lot of life ahead of you. Just relax and take things as they come. You can't cram for social skills like you would for an exam. I was hopelessly inept in social situations until I was nearly 30, but now I can talk to anybody about anything. We change as we mature. It'll happen to you, just be patient.
