What happens when you ban someone from a Facebook page?

I am administrator for a Facebook Page (A tribute page with 18,000+ people on it, like a non-profit organization) and I was wondering, if I ban someone who is making vulgar remarks, what exactly will happen? Will they see any errors or messages when they try to revisit the page or what? Will they still be able to see the page?

i think they just can't find the page... they won't know that it exists and won't be able to access it at all
