Not receiving Facebook notifications.?

Someone can post on my wall on Facebook, and I'll never know now because it doesn't tell me. I have to look.
Under 'Help' on the site, it only discusses email and SMS notifications.
I know you're probably thinking "You checked it and forgot." Well, I go back and look and it NEVER freaking tells me. It will tell me every other notification but that.
Anyone know what to do?

Don't worry, it's not you, it's Facebook.
It's a known glitch that happens to some users (myself included) and they're working on fixing it.

In the mean time, just keep checking your wall each time you log in.
