Should I get straight front bangs? Help?

Hi. I have long, wavy hair that is about 2-3 inches above my butt. It is dirty blonde, bleached at the bottom. I've been wearing my hair down with a side part to the left since 6th grade. I am now in 8th. I got short hair and bangs in 4th grade, but I didn't know how to work them and I HATED it. I am really starting to love the look of long straight hair and straight down front bangs, a small bit above the eyebrow. The thing is, I do not like side bangs. So when they grow out, I am going to hate it. So my question is.. should I get the bangs I want?

I love the way Taylor Swift's bangs looked, straight and down. That is what I am aiming for. But, do they look good with wavy hair? I don't have the time to straighten my hair and bangs EVERYDAY.

P.S - I had bangs when I was little like 4-6 and my mom tells me I loved them. But, I don't want to get bangs, think they are super annoying and then cry every night about how much I hate them for a year.
