Why do I barely have friends?

Ok I've been best friends with this girl for almost 2 years, but then towards the middle of the school year, she started acting different. Like she's been acting ghetto, and it's not cute. And she's been treating me so bad lately. Like everything I do is soooo wrong to her( what I mean by that is everything I do, she has to make a comment about it. So now we're just friends. Like right know I only have 2 people I have as friends and I trust. The others just seem fake. I try so hard to make new friends but no one seems to want to be my friend . Please answer, it would help a lot.

Tell that girl how she's been acting wrong. It'll help her realize how she's acting. Also, be yourself to get friends. Be happy, and laugh a lot. Join clubs at school will help too. Maybe get on social media and find people at your school. Hang out with different people every day of the week, but also change it up a bit. Complimenting people will also help you a lot. Do you like that girls shoes? Go ahead and tell her! If someone's feeling down, even if you don't know them, cheer them up somehow. Don't be shy though! Being shy will not get you friends! Don't hang out with the wrong people though! It could lead up to something bad.
