This is a scenario. Say like you get a friend request from a random guy on facebook around your age and you literally have never met but have like 3 mutual friends so u accept. He says that he was fraped as part of a joke and that you can remove him if u want. But you dont.

He then updates his profile picture and then you're the first one to like it. Even though he's a randomer...

Is that just complimenting a stranger? Or showing interest

Bare in mind the picture is of just him smiling. Personally its complimentary. If i like a girl i wouldn't like her pic as its making it a bit obvious in my opinion
