Guys, do you think this is why he stopped talking to me?

I talked to this guy for 3 years off and on. The last time we talked we ended up getting more serious than ever before. We ended up hanging out more and we had sex. We were talking relationship but he was saying he didn't want to rush things. He lives an hour away do that was also an issue. I liked him a lot and he liked me too and we often discussed our stand point. He randomly stopped talking to me a month ago. I follow him on twitter and read a tweet that he met with a recruiter and signed papers for the navy. He never once mentioned this to me, and that's not something you just decide one might randomly so he had to of been thinking about this. It just confuses me because he kinda talked about a future with us but then when it came down to things buckling down he'd get mad at me for trying to rush it and said it would eventually happen. Do you think he did this because he knew hes going into the navy and just didn't want to tell me? Do you think that's why he stopped talking to me? I'm so confused that even failed to mention that and basically led me on for so long and stopped talking to me with no explanation... Could this be the reason? Guys opinions please

To be honest it sounds like he knew he was going to the navy and was just keeping you around til it was finalized but probably didnt think you guys would get as far as you did. Now he can start training for the navy as a single guy and defence guys tend to turn into man whores during training exercises

He needs to be a man and tell you whats up. cant stand a guy or girl who just stops talking, I rather here we are done then nothing at all.
