I am having troubles dealing a friend?

First of all i asked her out on facebook another day came by and we broke up, and at my house we had sex. I have depression and suicidal thoughts so i've been to hospitals, i have told her i thought about killing myself and i think it really affected her, but at the time i was ignorant, i was suicidal because my mom had passed away from lung cancer (smoking) and i have never really felt a fatherly connection with my bio-dad so i'm more connected with my stepfather, we are both in High school and i think the problem might be that we are both afraid to talk to each other, i'm not sure if i want to move on but at the same time i do i was as close to her as i were to my mom. please give me your thoughts and what i should try to do..

You should talk more on your issues with her, see if she can offer solutions. Remain as friends..
