Should i get an HTC One?

I want to get an HTC One but is it worth getting? it has a nice design and it looks really good, but is it durable? will it break or get scratched easily?
i currently own a Galaxy S3 and have always been with samsung and want a change. so is the HTC One a good phone?

My boyfriend has the HTC One.

He has a case on it but one night he threw up and some vomit got on it and it didn't faze it, any. He's dropped it and done some stuff with it, and so far there's nothing wrong with it. (He has no protective screen on the front of it).

It has some really cool features. The speakers are on the front, so there's no turning it over to listen. When you go to the music, it sometimes will play the lyrics, right on screen. The facebook shows up, right on the main screen, though.
The volume is really loud. -- Sorry, don't know much else, I don't go near the phone. It's pretty nice though, kind of big.

My advice is to wait for the iphone 6 or the new HTC m8 coming this march.

If i was you I would wait for the next HTC One, it'll be announced next month, with a dual-camera setup (Not for 3D), front facing speakers, and an aluminium body, it's hard to resist!
