Will it be a must to convert Facebook Profile to Timeline after sometime?

I hate this Timeline but now it's not must to change your profile to Timeline but will it be changed automatically after some time?? , I hate this stupid Timeline !!!

Yes in fact, facebook last week if not the week before made it mandatory.

If you already have it. You have a week before it is public.

Change and deleat what you can before people stalk your profile all the back til your grandma's birth.

I'd like to know if we can keep it on the "regular" non-timeline facebook somehow. On my facebook today, it says I can convert now, or wait until Feb 15 when it goes live (meaning "converts whether I like it or not")
