KPOP fans can you answer me..Hello?!?

Im too a kpop fan but not that crazy one to stay outside the SM/JYPE(or other) building just to see idols or not a stalker.Im just a ordinary fan but I just wanted to know something.

Can you guys tell me WHAT IS A SASAENG FAN?!.They are mentioned here and there but I just cant understand what that means?!

Sasaeng fan is an obsessive "fan." They don't have any life, so they stalk their idol(s).

For example... This "fan" of Jay Park hacked his MySpace account and released what he posted about S. Korea. It was about how he thought Korea was gay and all that (and it's typical behavior of a stressed teen if you think about it). The translation got overexaggerated; Jay had to leave because of that stalker.

A sasaeng is one of those crazy fans you've mentioned! They stalk their idols, and in some cases have even caused harm to come to the idols. For example TVXQ's Yunho had to go to the hospital after a 'fan' put something in his drink. Members of Exo have been harassed in airports. People were found hiding outside of G-Dragon's old apartment, which made him have to move to a secret location where even his members can't visit him!

A saesaeng fan is a stalker or obsessive fan, but many idols dont refer to them as actual fans. (kim heechul said this) They want to get noticed by their idols in anyway they can, good or bad. So like in some cases someone threw a rock at DBSK Changmin in the airport, put glue in Yunho's drink and he had to go to the ER. They follow idols around literally EVERYWHERE and they do this in a lot of different ways like they have saesaeng taxi's where they driver insanely fast to match up with the idols cars, and they follow them and hack into their dorms.
Some have even gone to the extreme of writing letters to their idols in their period blood, sounds disgusting, Taecyeon from 2pm talked about this.

Sasaeng fan [사생팬] is an overly obsessed fan. Basically they are an extreme fans who stalk their idols and invade their privacy with questionable methods. What they want is to get the idols attention by following them, recording the videos of them when they shouldn't, touching them at the airports, meetings, physically hurting them and being inappropriate.
Here are some of the many examples of their insane actions:

-They ruined Baekbeom's wedding (Baekhyun's brother) and Baekhyun felt guilty because it was ''because of him''. He got angry, and one of the sasaengs wrote a sickening message:
“Baekhyun-ah, I told you
Stop messing around, or we really don’t know what we’ll do next
Why do you think we went all the way there and caused a fuss?
Our puppy is so cute when he’s mad
But it’s time to tone down that personality isn’t it? You’re a public figure hehe
Try treating us like we’re insects one more time, we really don’t what we’ll do next time
And send your brother our congratulations on his wedding~”

-A sasaeng fan wrote a letter with a period blood too 2PM's Taecyeon

–Made a copy of the key to DBSK’s apartment
–Followed Changmin, then broke his pinky finger
–Froze DBSK’s phone account, checked their call history on their cell phones, and checked one by one to see if they called a girl
–Looked for DBSK’s personal seal to register marriage documents
–Snuck in lingerie in DBSK’s bags
–Secretly ordered a bunch of pizza and chicken to DBSK’s apartment and forced them to pay for them
–Snuck into their apartment and kissed them while they’re sleeping
–Saved menstrual blood to give the oppas as a present
–Been the cause of their car accident
–Found the phone numbers of family members and called them
–Hit Changmin with a bag full of rock
–Used members’ social security numbers to sign into various internet sites
–Tapped their phones

- Leeteuk: “Sasaeng fans are still following me even up to the day before my enlistment. What should I do. Please just leave me alone for today.” He also later tweeted: “I have nowhere to go. I’m going home to pack and move my luggage.”

-While on Radio Star earlier this year, Dongwan and Junjin revealed that their fans used to use their bathrooms and steal their laundry. They also had to move dorms within a year when they had a 2 year contract. However, Dongwan seems to have a good solution: “In the summer, I used a hose and sprayed water on fans. I thought the fans were flowers. When I sprayed water on fans they would say ‘I didn’t come to see you.’ That made me a big angry. I would say that ‘Shinhwa does not take care of your lives’ and those fans would leave. I think I was crazy at the time.”

-Earlier this year on May 9th, Siwon went to Twitter to express his feelings on having his twitter account hacked by a sasaeng fan: “Real love is when you understand the person and are caring. Love is not when you invade someone’s privacy and spy on them. Please do not hack my account again. Please.”

-almost kidnapped Kim Yoo Jung by impersonating her father at her school’s office during her elementary years. He told her teacher that he’s here to take his “daughter.”

-blocked Big Bang’s van in China. G-Dragon revealed on Yoo In Na’s radio program “Volume Up” that “there were many times when fans followed us by taxis and other cars. But this was the first time that the fans blocked us by placing cars in the front, back and both sides of our van. They stopped and came out to take pictures. Fortunately, they let us go after taking pictures.”

-creeped into Girls’ Generation’s security-enabled apartment complex. Jessica revealed on an episode on SBS’s “Strong Heart” that a man followed behind her after she got out of a taxi and used an umbrella to block the apartment complex’s main entrance. She continued, “I thought he must’ve lived in the complex, but he continued to follow me. When I walked faster, I heard his footsteps sped up behind me. I quickly entered the password and got home and not much later, I heard someone trying to open our front door.”


-sent one of her used monthly menstrual pads to Taecyeon with the message “Ok Taecyeon, you can’t live without me.” After much outrage by 2pm’s fans and the public, the “fan” later wrote on her blog, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry to make the fans and Taecyeon worry. I didn’t know it will get this much attention. I’m not a sasaeng fan, just obsessed.”

-Caused bad injuries to EXO's Kai, Luhan, Kyungsoo,...

-A fan asked Xiumin in Chinese if he slept with Luhan and if Luhan “does him well at night,”. Since Xiumin couldn't understand, Luhan took his hand and walked away all pissed out.
