Instagram question...?

I'm not trying to sound like a b**** or arrogant, but how come some people from school won't follow me back on instagram? I have my full name and a recognizable pic. I also don't flood my instagram every second, maybe 1- 3 pics a day. Do these people hate me or find my pics unintersting (i get told that i post cool pics alot). I'm just scared that these people might not like me or hate me, is this what it is?

Just because they don't follow you back on instagram doesn't mean they don't like you.. lol
