is it normal for my mother to say that I love my husbands family more?

I posted some pictures of my son holding my baby niece from my husbands side on my facebook page and my mother is telling me that I care more for them. Is that crazy behavior?

My mom demonstrates some very similar "crazy behavior". With my mom it comes down to the fact that she's jealous that I'm much closer with my dad's side of the family. It sounds like something similar with your mom... she wants things equal (or in her favor) in terms of you "showing loyalty" to your family sides. I just ignore my mom's comments because they are her issue, not mine. It's nothing big enough to stress over unless it starts spilling into her behavior beyond just random commentary.
