Is it all right for men and women involved in relationships to look up ex's facebook pages?
My significant other recently looked up an ex's page, and not only that, but some other"crush's" pages as well (people she just dated). Should I be worried? I wasn't snooping, but she left her search history up and I happened to see the viewing history for Facebook. Is it okay to look through ex's photos, etc, or does it indicate a serious interest? We've been together 3 years.

Maybe she just wanted to know what is going on with him,or if there's anything to do with her on there.I can't say whether that is right or wrong, just put it down to interest.

Confront her about this, I can understand people wanting to remain friends with ex's, and maybe even being curious about how far they've come. To an extent this seems fine, the only way of knowing is asking her why she's doing this, dont come across agressively, though.

No, it is okay to look up ex's on Facebook. In fact studies show that most women who look up ex's and start talking to them cheat on their significant others with those es's. Looking through photos on Facebook only means that she really wants to get back in touch with this person and that all they can think about is the good times spent with that said person.

Personally don't see anything wrong with that. 'Tis only natural to be curious about past relationships. Likewise 'tis only natural for you to be a bit uneasy that she's curious.
If it helps, just give her a good bonking now & then and she'll soon forget what her name was, let alone the exes & crushes. Happy bonking ! |

You always want to reassure yourself that you're doing better than your ex's.
I wouldn't worry about it personally... |

@The Deceiver: Studies show WHAT? Where? back up your answer!! What is your source?
I facebook and google my exes because I'm intrigued to know what they are doing with their lives!!! I spent time with them, probably loved them at some point, so yeah...I`m human...I'm curious. Look, you can't take one incident and wonder if you should be worried. Take a look at your girlfriend, all the things she does, for you, for herself, for her friends? What type of woman is she? Deceitful? Untrustworthy? When someone I know who is deceitful does something "innocent" I worry, but if not...i put my faith and trust in them. And what person DOESN'T know how to delete their history? By taking a look at her exes on facebook and LEAVING the history pages there, she's showing how much she trusts YOU! Enjoy your relationship and well done for being together for 3 years...hope you have another 30 more!! Good luck Miss X |
