How can i add a share button to my facebook fan page?

I would like to add a share button on my facebook fan page that populates a pop up window asking a viewer to invite their friends to the fan page. Since facebook is phasing out fbml all of the documentation I have on how to make that possible is currently useless, and after searching the net for a few days I figured asking a community may be a better option.
