Does everyone here know how to tell a Yahoo Answers contact from a non contact?

Horsense is right and that just isn't right! The blue icon, which can be seen with the old format... is not on this new format.
The only way I can see to tell a contact when actually asking and answering questions is to move your mouse arrow over their avatars. A contact's will have the option to "unfollow".
A non contact's will have the options to "follow" or "block".
It's harder, but will still serve the purpose when you really need to know.

'Contacts' and 'Fans' was confusing enough. Now those users are called 'Followed' and 'Followers'.

Followed/Following/Followers seems kinda creepy and stalkerish to me. Not sure why Y!A needed to change the wording, except to seem more like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

*Followed/Followed Users/Whom I Follow = Contacts
*Followers/My Followers = Fans

Then consider that other users who are neither followed nor followers (contacts or fans, respectively) ... well, it's easy to see how it gets even more confusing.

I do but when it gets hard it is because they change their name and pic. But usually I can tell by the way they express themselves.

In the old format I could see icons that let me know when an account was a contact of mine, or blocked by me. However, with this new format I can no longer see any of those icons anymore. ):

Thanks. Guess it didn't occur to Yahoo to write a tutorial because there are huge differences between the old and new formats.
