Wrestling: what does dec. stand for?
I'm reading the twitter feed about how our schools team is doing and a lot of them say stuff like Travis Milliron dec. Bruce Smith. Who won? What does it mean?

It means Travis beat Bruce by decision. That means he didn't pin him, but got more points.
