Ive applied for social work course at university as id love to be a social worker. I was wondering if I could use this degree to work elsewhere (like Europe, america, Australia) or do they have a different course which means i'll need to study it their way?

Also are their social work opportunies abroad?

If you want to volunteer for charities, NGOs, some probably could use a bit of help.

Otherwise, there's not a whole lot of work for the Do-Good Brigade. Govt budgets, charity funding, all on the skids. Jobs slashed, glut of MSWs on the job market. Absolutely no qualification for any employment visa. Besides, no struggling charity can pay for an employment visa, and you cannot apply. And govt jobs go to citizens (when there are any jobs - people languish on civil service rolls for 3-4 years waiting for openings after earning their MSW and passing civil service exams).

You're not going anywhere with this, maybe not even within your own country's borders.
