Facebook wall privacy?

I could use to hide my wall from certain people (family members), so that they could not see anything at all... no posts I made on my wall or on some ones else's.

Now with new facebook settings (not timeline- i don't have timeline yet), they can't see people's posts on my walls thankfully, but they can see posts that I have made, i.e. status updates and they can see posts i have made to others, i.e. where it says on my wall.... ''hello how are you'' on John Smith's wall.

I have been trying for ages but i just can not set it so that these few people don't see ANY activity on my wall!

The reason I can't unfriend them is it'll offend them, i still want them to see my albums and i want to be able to post on their wall/them post on mine.
I am referring to my wall, not the main-page newsfeed or the twitter style newsfeed

I'm assuming you're talking about that twitter type feed on the side. The person has to click your name and under subscribe (I think) click of the comments and likes. I don't think you can do it yourself.
