Can you only upload PS4 gameplay footage to Twitch?

Sup everyone!

OK, so I know that the PS4 has a share button and that's AWESOME! However, I heard the footage can only be uploaded to Twitch? Is this true? If so, does Twitch have a partnership program like on YouTube where you can get paid for your recordings?

Also, may I add, can you upload vlogs (AKA video blogs) on the PS4 also? Because I'm a sports journalist and I want to to do sports talk vlogs because I already so some podcasting and writing (Which I love) so I want to try my hand at video and speak to sports fans on certain topics.

You can upload to Facebook. You can do live steams to Twitch or Ustream.

People who get large numbers of followers can get a subscription program set up on Twitch. People can subscribe to your channel and you get like half the amount of the subscription. It's not per view or anything. People can opt to sub or not sub. You might also get a small amount of ad revenue.

You cannot do video blogs on Twitch. It is a website primarily for live videogame streaming, so you should be playing a game.
