How should I accept my friend on facebook without letting anyone know he is in my friends list?

I have a friend but my family does not want me to be around him. Actually we love each other, but the thing is if I accept him on facebook his name will show up in the friend list, since my brother is in my facebook friend list. He is able to check my list. Can I by chance change my friends name to something else so no one can find out. How do I change his name on facebook? I dont know how I can add him. Please help!!!!!! Any suggestions how i can add him, without anyone knowing he is there. please thank you I really appreciate it.

Remove your brother as a friend. You cant change someone else's name on facebook, unfortunately

Just don't accept him. You can't change his name or anything, once you're friends anyone can see it unfortunately. If you remove your brother it will look suspicious and could lead to a big family issue. Even if people are not your facebook friend, they can see who your friends are... so if your brother figures that out after you defriended him, you'll be caught.

I suggest not adding your friend to avoid any drama. If he does love you, he'll understand.
