We have the right to be imperfect, only because we are imperfect. We are entitled nothing in this world.

Absolutely. And if anybody doubts it, get a Twitter account...not to Tweet, but just to see all the idiotic things people (whom I refer to as "Twidiots") feel a burning need to share with the world.
And if you're not digitally inclined, try listening to talk radio (and I don't mean Coast to Coast AM with George Noory...that's an awesome program) for as long as your stomach can stand it. You will hear both the hosts and callers exercise this right constantly. Some people might want to be more precise and say "conservative talk radio," mainly because the vast majority of talk hosts slant to the right. However, what few liberal hosts there are on the air exhibit just as much idiocy. And if you really want to hear people who live by this statement, tune into your local sports-talk station at night, just about the time the bars are closing. Better yet, tune into a post-game show after the home team blows a game.....here in Pittsburgh, the most entertaining post-game show occur after the Steelers take one on the chin. The idiots just come crawling out of the woodwork one right after the other. Did I mention "reality" TV shows as well? Do I need to? OK. Three words....Honey Boo Boo. |
