1.valentine's day is somewhat alien to the Hindu culture in India.so there has been some opposition to selling valentine's day gifts in India.
2.rakhi or raksha bandhan is a typical Hindu festival and so you will find a surge in the sale of festivity items during that time and so people market newer and better ideas during rakhi
