If you're looking for games relating to simulated cooking, Cafe World on Facebook is like that. But be warned, it is excruciatingly addicting.

As far as games on the market that are related to the Sims, the only real game that goes with it would be the Sims, of course. There are lots of expansion packs to it and some good spinoffs (Sims 2: Castaway isn't half bad) and you won't tire of them easily. If you like building things, the SimCity series or the _________ Tycoon series is pretty enjoyable, though the latter has been pretty forgotten in recent years.
