Someone made a fake Facebook profile about my best friend?

Hi, well the other night my best friend rang me up and told me that someone had made a fake profile on Facebook about her... It contained stuff about her, and her best friend.. she was relatively upset by this as she's not the type of person to be disliked by anyone tbh... she's lovely and kind and so quiet! We have a 99.9% thought that it could be some girl who has bullied my best friend since year 9 (we're going into year 11 in September) , It was also always on the Internet... this happened last summer, with this bully! Here are the reasons we suggest it's her "in my friends words in the mail she sent me later on the same night"

"Tbh, I think it's *bullys name here* I have my reasons though. Because, she has been bullying me on and off since year 9, and the fact that she was the one who told me about it in the first place, I didn't even know this account existed and then she asked me if I had got a friend request thing off it and I was like no? ;s and she went are you sure? and then I go and check my Hotmail and there's an email saying "Natasha Daniels wants to be friends" and the friends that are on that account, are mutual with *bully name here* aswell... also in the info it says "***** is a dog".. when it got de-activated she told me and I was like thank god ;\ Lets hope it stays like that and then as she went offline, the account was ironically re-activated and she was like at least they can't get to to your pictures, and I was like yeah but all they have to do it right click and save my profile picture, then as if by magic, 5 minutes later it had been changed from this random man, to the display picture I am using.. Also basic things like "ugly" she's been calling me since year 9, and she knows I hate being called an Emo and before I got a mail off the fake account saying "yh u emo" so.. it's abit obvious ... And also, she knows about my OCD and the Asperger's video.. x She also knew straight away when it was de-activated/re-activated etc..
PLEASE don't anything to her, not untill I get the proof, even though I know fine well it's her that did it

And also, it was all written via mobile device, which she uses...



This girl has been bullying my best friend for two years, the school policewoman has been involved many, many times... About 6 people popped up straight away to my friend and said "IT'S SO *bullys name here* OMG IT'S SO OBVIOUS! We know it's her, but we don't have solid "proof" if you get me? :\ I'm just worried about my friends well being, she gets really upset over these things....


At the moment, she is okay.. but it's only a matter of time before they write again, and start adding everyone... She is scared it will spiral out of control, myself, and her have reported it many times, and so have alot of her friends but it's still there..

go to the bottom of the profile and click the "report/block this person" link.

Well I just looked at it and it is very obviously fake. AT least it only has 5 friends.
And by the way, you're friend is gorgeous. =)

I would tell one of the teachers at your school or whoever has been dealing with the bullying. At my school, teachers sometimes can get the police involved to find out who started the site and get it shut down.

On Facebook, click on that bully's profile and click on the "Report/block this person". Select "fake profile" on the reasons and fill it out as best you can. Users aren't suppose to use your photos or pretend to be other people, so that bully's already violated Facebook's rules with that. That should cover the abuse on Facebook.

I'm sorry to hear that you guys are going through that and I hope that things will get better.

Well there many ways of settling this first you can report/abuse on the fake accounts profile and if it gets really bad contact the police or someone responsible

This is major cyberbullying and if you report it to a responsible adult they can get the bully arrested. As for proof I think what you've stated in this question is enough.

To get rid of the profile underneath the friends list is a link that says "report/block this person" click the link and follow its instructions to report the person. If your reason for getting the profile taken off-line is good enough then facebook will delete the account entirely.
