Facebook Notifications?

I dont get notifications for when people comment on stuff any more. I think it's only status comments that never pop up. It doesnt gimme the notification on my iTouch or on regular Facebook on the computer. What setting did i turn off and what do i do to get it working right?

click on your "notifications" icon at the very bottom right hand side.
then click on "see all" and the top of that box that comes up
then when you get to "your notifications" page you should have a column on the right hand side of your page, look on then to see if you have unticked them of then you can chose what sort of notifications you want to see and ones you don't.
