I want to get back with my ex girlfriend. But how?

Hi, I was recently on a night out in the local town and I saw my ex girlfriend dancing on the dance floor by herself and I was wondering should I approach her or not. I didn't approach her as I thought she would slap me again.
Back on the 14th of July 2012 we broke up after three years as I gave her flowers and chocolates for her Birthday which was on the 11th of July. She blocked me on Facebook and she has some other guy with her that gives her an awful time by hitting her as I saw this happen outside the local McDonalds fast food restaurant.
I know she still works in the same pub before we broke up.
I really want to get back with her but I just don't know how I will do this as don't know any of days she is working and I don't want the police chasing me for stalking her either.

Please help me, I want to get back with my ex- girlfriend but I don't know what to do to get her back.
