how to remove my pic from google?

hello so the today i was checking and surffing the internet and suddenly i found my picture (twitter avatar) on google, even when i google my own user the old picture shows on the search i didnt agreed to show it on google!! is there is any way to remove the picture from the search result? appreciated

in your gmail in top right hand corner is a little gear. Click that gear and scroll down under general to "my picture". Click select a picture. Click "No picture".
