What I teach my clients to do is to never go to your market without a strategy that focuses on two areas.

1. Sales
2. Marketing

Everything else doesn't matter.

Here's why.

Without sales and marketing there is no cashflow.

And without cashflow there is no business.

You have to understand this.

Businesses can be asset rich and cash poor.

Write that last line down.

Businesses can get caught up in the thought of having assets.

They think that just because they haven't went out of business that things are okay.

However, they don't have good cash flow and they don't have high profit margins. Nor do they have scalability.

That simply means they can't scale their business up to much higher profit margins.

I'd be willing to bet that your business needs cashflow.

Quick question for you.

How well do you own your business category?

The reason why you're not receiving hits as you are looking for could be because:

1. You are targeting the wrong market
2. You don't own your market
3. Your looked at as being a commodity within your market
4. You don't have a reliable system

If you want more hits from your marketing efforts then you've got to become the expert in a category of one.

You have to eliminate your competition by creating a category where only you can provide them with the solution.

When you do that then marketing is easier..

Sales are easier.

Cashflow is easier to get.

This only happens when you teach your market to choose only you.

When there are too many choices to choose from then your market will choose based off of a commodity mindset where things are chosen based off of price and not value.

What you're currently doing are only tactics.

Tactics rarely work when the leader of a chosen category is operating from a higher perspective than you are.

When you change your perspective, you can change your results.
