How harsh are colleges when looking at social media?
Recently, colleges have been cracking down on applicants to their campuses and are becoming much more strict on their policies on getting in. One particular thing they have looked at to determine a student's eligibility for their college is social media.

In essence, what do colleges look for on social media? Is it just illegal activities, or do they also judge profanity and character? Even if you have a 3.8 GPA or higher?

Illegal activities = definitely. Profanity, ehhhh. If you say a bad word once in a while it doesn't really matter, but if you're saying motherf-er every other word then I would recommend stopping it. Just think of it this way - don't post anything you wouldn't want your mom and grandma to read.
