Attention seeking 'tell me im amazing' facebook statuses! WHY?

Its so annoying when you go on facebook and you see all these statuses like 'worst day of my life' 'some people are so mean' 'honestly so upset right now, i just want to die' and selfies with comments like 'im so fat' 'omg i look so ugly' Its like why do they need to tell the world? Why are they so desperate for compliments? And I have this friend who is really nice but her statuses make me want to punch her. Today she posted a video she made where she drones on about bullying and she got about 50 comments and all of them said things like 'omg hun so true' 'your so brave and like totes inspiring <3' She even made a page saying 'Be strong, your worth it' Its sickening! I hate people like that. What about you?
I know! theyre so needy and pathetic, they want the whole world to feel sorry for them

Eh... That's all facebook is anymore. Just people, screaming for attention. It's almost sickening to get on there anymore. Just a bunch of people talking about themselves.

People just see the posts of one person who has a bunch of "likes" so then they want to follow the same path. In the end it's all just a stupid game to see who can get the most attention. It's not even about socializing anymore.

I seen statuses like "Don't feel like talking to anybody". And I sit there like why are you posting then I see "Boys are the same", meanwhile they update their relationship status everyday with a new person lol. And then I see the long essay statuses and I think to myself nor I or anyone else care, get a journal! And one last thing I hate some girls do they'll post a picture with a long caption about respect and a girls worth while in a bikini or taking their arm and hiding their boobs. Needless to say some people shouldn't have facebooks
