Is she into me or am I assuming too much?

I'm a junior in highschool I've been texting this really cute freshman girl lately. She goes to my school but we met on twitter. When I see her in the halls (not that often) we always say hi together but that's it we've never had a conversation in person. Part of this because we never see each other and that she was talking to this other guy. Ya their talking but I don't see him as any threat. I honestly don't know what she sees in him all he does is smoke weed and get into trouble which is like the complete opposite of me. Anyway we talked like every 2 days for like a month then I just stopped texting her. She randomly texted me about 3 days ago then last night she did we talked for a little and she just told me to text her tomorrow because she was tired which she's never done before. I honestly don't think I've been friend zoned and I would date this girl in a heartbeat, I think she's perfect but I don't wanna ask if she's still talking to that guy cuz things could get awkward
