Why they do like this to me on Facebook?

Whenever I am on Facebook and I send a message to someone like "hiiiii..... how are you, whats up, what are doing" etc or "have you been back from the trip?" or like "hows your life going in the new city?" ... these people and everyone on facebook never reply me. They don't reply or turn off the chat. But why they do so. It happens every time. I never get reply from any one. Why they do so????
