Privacy settings on facebook. 10 points for helpfull answer!?

Facebook has changed all settings and I am wanting to know how to make my wall private? I have gone into the privacy settings, checked the 'who can post on my wall' and 'who can see posts by others on my wall' and changed them to 'only me yet my friends say they can still see wallposts by themselves, others and myself.
How can I change this?
FB has made things very difficult! I can change my own status settings I just realised, but when others post on my wall, everyone in my friendslist can see unless I delete the post...

that happened to me too, my friends cant post on my wall anymore, tell me if you find out how =p

You can set it up personally when you set a status, post pictures, etc.

If you go to your privacy settings, you'll see the "old post availability" (<--the one with the bubbles) To ensure maximum privacy protection, I suggest you click "only me." You can always customize your settings and who can see your stuff when you post them up
