How do you think media has affected people with losing weight?
The power of the Media on the growth of eating disorders such as Anorexia or Bulimia has been well documented. From an early age we as a society are virtually attacked with constant images and messages that strengthen the idea to be happy and successful you MUST be thin. It is almost impossible to look through a magazine, newspaper or a social networking site for example Facebook/ Twitter and not see some sort of celebrities transformation of weight loss, what they use to look like and what they look like now. It clearly seems like being 'overweight' is undesirable. What do you think?

On the other hand, there are so many ads about fast food, candy, and pastries out there that the media, in some cases, only adds to the growing issues of obesity in many countries ...
