Random question - please answer?

(I am asking this on my best friend's account, Samantha, because I don't feel like making my own account; My name is Alexis)

A couple of days ago, I was literally doing nothing, but he invited me to his house to hang out (I had to go out that way anyways, because my car gas light came on)

But then he texted me, basically, saying he has to go to the Apple store because his Apple TV broke... Which is kind of annoying, because he should have just not invited me over. But whatever, since I needed to get gas

But then last night, his best friend sent me a screen shot of the convo of him inviting me over (but from my ex's phone)... Which was really random... I saw my ex's phone and my name was still "Alexis Bear <3" from when we were going out... But he obviously wasn't going to send it with that, so he changed the name to "#notwithit"


1. Who the heck hashtags anything outside of Twitter
2. Why would his best friend randomly send that to me, but when I respond, he doesn't respond back...
3. I'm assuming "#notwithit" means that I didn't get the "joke" about me not coming over, cause when he texted me that he had to go to the store, I said "what... seriously?"


There's not really a question, just wanted to vent haha (btw - I'm 20, he's 22... We were together for almost 2 years, but we broke up 3 months ago)

idk, i dont use twitter and when i do see hashtag it looks self serving and silly to me

Likely he is being mischievous,testing your reaction for your ex, or likes you and trying to show how lame your ex is....not responding means that he ignoring you for some reason, likely he was embarrassed on how lame it was to send out that random, hes troublemaker trying to be aloof and cause more trouble, he was told not to txt u anymore, or he simply busy

it would seem that its is indeed a joke away of self deprecating himself by predicating that you will see how ridiculous it will be to invited over by an ex boyfriend

my opinion is based on what you have said here idk the full context of your background with these ppl.

And im sure you know that "hang out" doesn't really mean hang out, it means something more
