Girl friend does not respond to me on Facebook?

So it is Christmas time and me and my friends are doing secret Santa so I decided to buy a present for a friend a middle school who was a girl friend.By that I mean that she was a friend who was a girl.Anyway I wanted to give her the present and I told her I wanted to give her something as a Christmas gift.And she said nah but I said that I can't return it.Basically I have been sending her messages for the past two days when she is online and when I send her a message she gets off Facebook?

Maybe she feels guilty about not being able to give you something in return.
You should have taken the hint in the first place....if she says no,then she means no!!!
Girls can be very funny about this sort of thing......she probably thinks you fancy her.
For your sake I hope you don't because it's evident she's not interested.
