Given I got two popup ads just looking at it, that's a reason why.

Its about content but mostly pagerank, if your blog has a page rank of 3 or less than you will have hard time getting traffic. You need to work on your backlinks and links that you post on your blog.

Every viewer wants to see attractive thing and reader encourages good contents as well. Readership depends upon the viewership. Blog must have organize with proper running or working images along with contents. Avoid too many popups on blog otherwise people will get distracted.
Blog theme should match with the content style and template as well. But it is all not enough to get traffic. Promote blog on social media join communities under the blog niche and involve in conversation with others and let them know about the blog. Also, give an attention to SEO.
Good Luck!

"Blogging from years", but still no success. So, I'm sure that you're following guidelines set by someone else.
Make sure that you are aware of the target audience and what they need. Try to post what they want, not what you know.
Also, try to promote yourself on other blogs related to your niche through commenting and guest blogging. Practically, it takes a maximum of 1-3 years for a newbie to get noticed on Web. But if it's still longer he/she should change their blogging strategies.

SEO will get you traffic fast, but for long-term success, you need to build a network of prospects. Build relationships with your readers and the people you want to target. I can see that you're a lifestyle blogger, focusing on several subjects. This is a good article that might help you: http://sett.com/theeagertiger/blogging-s...ter-of-one
