Can I find the IP address of a Troll on Facebook?
Is it possible to get Facebook to find the IP of a Troll with an anon Facebook account as one has been bothering a friend, if with nothing that is illegal but in the usual Troll way it's childish & spiteful. To find out who it is would stop them, or does no-one care if it's not illegal or direct harrassment
Appears generally that there isn't. To ignore the Troll and don't feed them is the best advice I've had elsewhere, as it's a common thing Ads |

It's possible. So yes, you can. Whether you will or not depends on your computer skills.

It is possible although you would have to have access to some data that may well be restricted unless you have a warrant. Even then you may not be able to determine the exact location of the individual computer. For example if they are using a router with the DHCP function activated, as many people are these days, you will get an IP address of the ISP's nearest hub not the specific location of the machine in question. So finding the exact user is virtually impossible. You can find the general location but I believe that protocol will block you unless you can prove that the person in question has done something illegal.

just report the troll for trolling
even if you get an IP address, that wont tell you anything other than a general location of his ISP, which is useless since he could also be using a proxy site to disguise his general location |
