Does he like me? I'm confused?

Alright, this may be a little long but please give me honest answers, because I've liked this guy for two years now. Okay, so we're both in grade 10 now, and I've liked him since second semester in grade 8 (freshmen year). We had woodwork together. So my friend knew I liked him so she asked him on FB if he though I was pretty, and he said 'idk why?' Basically I'm assuming he knew I liked him at that point, and since then he kept starring at me in Woodwork when everyone else was looking down at their projects and I'd be up talking to the teacher, he'd be the only one looking at me and right when I looked at him, he'd look down. My friend told me when she was at Tim Hortons', he was there with his friends, and his bestfriend asked my bestfriend if I liked him. That was grade 8. Then grade 9 (last year) we had Science together. He sat two tables away from me, in the same row. He would always stare at me in class, my bestfriend sat beside me at the same table and told me he was always looking at me like when I was working, or when I'd be talking to the teacher. When I looked back at him, sometimes he'd turn away and sometimes he'd hold the eye contact. One time in grade 9, he was walking down the hall where my locker is (downstairs) with his friends, and they were like, "Why are you down here?" to my crush 'cause his locker wasn't down there and neither were his classes. Once he passed my locker and we made eye contact, he turned around to go to his class. So at this point we've never ever talked, not in person or on facebook (even though we're friends on FB). Now, in grade 10, we had math together and sat beside eachother (in desks that weren't touching) and he would always stare at me. My Bestfriend said when I was at my locker he would always be starring at me (our lockers are in the same hall this year). Anyways, one time when I was with my bestfriend after lunch hour, the bell rang, and we were walking back to class. So our halls are really tiny, and him and his friends were in a big group, taking up most of the room. As I was about to pass by, my crush gets into the lunging position, blocking room for me to pass, and he turns to his friends and says, "Doing some lungs." So I step over his leg and when my friend (who's behind me) is about to pass by, he stands up and she passes by. Idk it was just weird. So about a month ago, he messaged me on FB and said, "Hi, what's up." It was so out of the blue 'cause we've never talked before. We talked for about an hour, he kept asking questions and so did I. Then, a week later I decided I would message him this time, and we had another good conversation. It had been two and a half weeks since then (we'd only had two conversations.) My friend forced me to message 'hey' to him again. He saw the message four days later, at like two in the morning and never replied. This was about two weeks ago now, and he still hasn't replied. So idk, I thought he might like me but I guess not? It's weird 'cause no one else always stares at me, and plus he messaged me first. IDK :/

Boys are strange!
Look at his body language, if his knees face to you he wants to look at you. Looking at your face when you are not looking is a common sign that he likes you. If he doesn't message you maybe he doesn't know what to say. Sometimes they might not want to say the wrong thing.
