Why is my facebook app saying facebook authentication failed?

I've taken out my battery, I changed my password, I've uninstalled and installed the app, I deleted the cache, and I reset my whole phone and its still doing that! I don't know what else to do I have almost given up!!

I don't have an answer for you unfortunately but I am going through the same thing with my facebook app on my android. I think it's a glitch that is the version of the app we have. I think the developer is going to have to fix it because nothing worked for me either. This happened 2 years ago with my blackberry and it took them a few weeks to release a fix.
