My mom wont let me put my picture on the internet...?

I have instagram, twitter, Google+, and im not allowed to post my picture how do i convince her to let me post my picture on the internet?? BTW, I am 15.

She is probably worried about guys contacting you. Talk to her about it and see if you can comprimise. Maybe show her how you can control your privacy settings, or agree to let her approve of any pictures you post. If you are an otherwise trustworthy kid, this really shouldn't be a big deal.

Your mom won't let you put your picture on the internet so that those pedophile won't take an interest on your good looks and lure you away. Use an avatar or something, its much safer until you meet someone you trust and appreciate you, then you send them your picture for keepsake and rememberance of your friendship with them *

Your mother is right. Protect your privacy. Once your picture is on the net, you have no control over what people will do with it. They can cut and paste it on a nude body or a body engaged in porn. Why are you so desperate to SEEM famous by belonging to all these social media? If you want to be famous, do something extraordinary, a good thing preferably.
