So yeah I'm 16 and speak to this boy that's currently just turned 20 this year and I'm 17 this year so it's only really a 3year gap. We met over twitter and exchanged numbers. We text/talk on the phone 24/7, we use snap chat and FaceTime all the time too, we've done this everyday for the past 2 months and I want to meet him and he wants to meet me, I'm not sure if my parents would agree of it though and is it safe to meet up?

Sorry ! I know you will not want to hear this but it is about as safe as swimming in shark-infested waters because that, in a way, is what you are doing.

No; its not safe to meet up. He could be anyone; you're a minor.

There is always a risk in those circumstances. The only way to do it with a degree of safety, is to have somebody older with you.
