How do you create a group on Facebook?

I am a teacher and have several former students who are "friends" on facebook. Although I don't have anything on there I wouldn't want my neices and nephews to see (they're "friends" too), I also don't necessarily want them reading that I'm going to sit outside and drink a beer I was told you can create a group and put friends there, and limit what they can see....my question is: HOW?

you can limit what they see without making a group. It's called 'filters"

To create a Group do the following:
> Go to your Profile Tab
> Then go to your Info Tab
> Then click on See All across the Groups heading.
> Then click on Create a New Group.
