Facebook says we have "1 mutual friend" when we actually don't?
I viewed a certain person's Facebook profile. We are not friends on FB, and I am sure I didn't send him a friend request by accident. The thing is, some of his friends and family now show up in my search bar if I type a few letters, and it says "1 mutual friend" under their names. Why would that be? Again, I did not add this person, so I don't know why FB is counting him as a mutual friend. I'm kind of paranoid now!

Facebook aren't saying that you're friends, Nicole. They're saying that you have a mutual friend, which means that both yourself and this person have a friend that is the same person.

Edit:

I see some genius (sic) thinks they know better, yet they haven't stated what the correct response should be. Fvcking clown!

to be honest Facebook can be really dumb like just yesterday i was chatting with my friend and Facebook said she was on the web so i sent her a link but she replied saying i cant see it i'm using my I-pod, so it could just be Facebook being an idiot if u want to solve it i would suggest either blocking this person (this might be taking it to far cause you probably don't have anything against him) or report it to FB here is some help on how to do that https://www.facebook.com/help/181495968648557/
