Need help with the Facebook app on my Motorola Droid!?

The "stock" application on my phone for Facebook has stopped working. When I try to look at Status Updates, it says "An error has occurred while fetching data [4/Application request limit reached]"

I have restarted my phone, and all the other features of my facebook app work..so how can I fix this? I don't want to uninstall it, because I don't think that I'll be able to re-install the same app (the Facebook app offered in the Android Market is different...)

It's probably the Facebook app. The forums are popping about it. It's affecting most Android phones...
